The Brainard Road office is six minutes from Bushnell Park, on the I-91 spur in the South Meadows industrial district. Ellie answers the desk phone Monday through Saturday. Doug books the in-home or video walkthrough around your schedule, not ours. Bobby counter-signs every binding flat figure before the dispatch board turns.
Where the desk is, who is sitting at it
218 Brainard Road, Suite 4, Hartford, CT 06114. From downtown: I-91 south one exit to Brainard, right at the light, fourth building on the left, Suite 4 around the back. Loading dock visible from the parking lot. The climate-controlled antique-furniture warehouse is the bay behind the front office.
Hours the phone is actually staffed
Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. through 6 p.m. November through April. Monday through Saturday, 6 a.m. through 7 p.m. May through October. Sunday by appointment only — mostly for corporate-transfer clients flying into Bradley International Sunday afternoon. Voicemail rolls to Ellie’s cell after hours; she returns the call before 8 a.m. the next morning.
Three ways to reach the Brainard Road office
The phone
Ellie picks up the office line, asks four questions (origin neighborhood, destination, move-week, what is in the largest room), and books Doug for the walkthrough either in-home or over a recorded video call. The phone number is at the top of every page on this site.
The web form
Fill in name, phone, origin neighborhood, destination, and target move-week. The form drops into Ellie’s queue at the front desk. Reply lands within two business hours during posted office hours.
Walking in
The South Meadows industrial district is open. Park in front of Suite 4, walk through the front office, and the dispatch board is on the back wall. If Bobby is on a Boston long-haul that day Joey or Sean will hand you a clipboard and answer the question.
Bradley International pickup
For Insurance City corporate transfers flying in for the binding-estimate walkthrough, Bradley International is twenty minutes north up I-91. Ellie can pre-coordinate the pickup. Doug does the walkthrough on the way back to the South Meadows yard.
License and insurance, on file at the Hartford County clerk

Federal $0.60-per-pound released-value baseline (full-value upgrade available). Workers’ comp and general liability current and renewable on the Hartford County clerk’s schedule.
Call the Brainard Road desk and Ellie will route the conversation to the right person before lunch.
